Windows 10 How to Change the Default Language

Hey guys, in this quick tutorial am going to show you how to change the default operating system language in windows 10.

This also works in later versions of windows but a little bit different.

#1 We start by going to our windows settings in the start menu

#2 Now we Choose Time & Language

#3 In the left sidebar we select Region & Language. It is the element right below the top most element Date & Time.

#4 In the region and language window, the first thing we can do is to set our region or country. Our region or country will be use by windows to display some local data.

#5 Next, we add the language we want to use by clicking the little add symbol as shown on the photo.

#6 Now we have a lot of languages to choose from. In my case I will select Cameroon. If the language you select has local variations, you are now able to choose the one that you prefer. In my case I will choose English Cameroon.

#7 Now, you need to set the language we selected as our default language. To do this, simply click on it and tap the button which reads Set as default.

Changes will be applied during the next restart or sign in.
